Group Size: Up to 20 children with three teachers
The 2024 Fall After-School Program happens Monday through Friday, from September 3 to November 22, 2024.
The 2025 Spring After-School Program happens Monday through Friday, from March 24 to May 30, 2025.
Kids sign up for one or more days each week for the entire session.
Fall ’24 Days and Cost (with/without school pick-up):

- Wednesdays $480/430 Weber, Lincoln, Longfellow, Montessori, Wickham

- Fridays $400/350 Lincoln, Longfellow, Regina
Spring ’25 Days and Cost (with/without school pick-up):
- Mondays $320/270 Lincoln, Lucas, Willowwind, Longfellow
- Tuesdays $400/350 Lincoln, Mann, Horn, Lemme, Longfellow
- Wednesdays $400/350 Weber, Lincoln, Longfellow, Montessori, Wickham
- Thursdays $450/400 Lincoln, Mann, Lucas, Willowwind, Twain

The school pickup plan will depend on who wants to sign up. Please email Zac at info@taprootnatureexperience.org and let us know if you’re interested.
We will pick up children at some schools, and kids from other schools can be delivered to us. The day ends at 6 p.m. at Upper City Park in Iowa City. If we don’t do a pick-up at your child’s school, you can bring your child to Taproot by arrangement.
Destinations and activities will depend on the weather and other variables, but will always include playing, exploring, visiting, learning, and growing in an atmosphere of friendship and nature.
NOTE: There is no Taproot ASP on Iowa City no-school days; however, we do offer Taproot All-Day Programs on most Iowa City no-school days!
